We are looking short-run and long-haul couriers with a valid drivers license. Your job will be to safely recover packages from our client locations and drive them to a scheduled destination, over intercity routes, in a timely manner. Part-time and full-time work available.
Responsibilities:
- Transport shipment in a time effective manner.
- Account for, and adapt to, unexpected situations like weather conditions and traffic.
- Keep proper logs at pickup from delivery locations and drop-off, following all company, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain reliable transportation; report all mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Observe and report all defects, accidents, and violations.
- Adhere to company guidelines while interacting with customers and serve as brand advocate.
Requirements:
- Possesses a valid drivers license.
- Must have valid car insurance.
- 1 year experience in driving commercially - preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to travel with regularity and potentially drive within southern California.
- Professional appearance, clean clothing, proper attire.
- No DUI.
